Ask for Wisdom

James 1:5

James offers a straightforward promise: if anyone lacks wisdom, ask God, who gives generously without finding fault, and it will be given.

Admit when you lack wisdom.

Pretending to have it all figured out blocks you from actually getting help.

Ask specifically, not vaguely.

Bring the actual decision to God, not just a general request.

Expect generosity, not judgment.

God isn't annoyed by the question. He gives freely.

Trust the wisdom you're given.

Once you've asked, act on the direction instead of second-guessing endlessly.

Keep asking as new situations arise.

Wisdom for one decision doesn't automatically cover the next one.
