Built in the Quiet

1 min read

Psalm 46:10

Most men build their strength in public — at work, in the gym, in front of their kids. But the strength that actually holds up is built somewhere else: in the quiet, alone with God.

Slow down on purpose.

You won't accidentally find stillness. You have to choose it before the day chooses for you.

Let God be God.

Stop trying to control every outcome for five minutes. Trust who's actually in charge.

Listen before you speak.

Prayer isn't only talking. Some of the best direction comes when you stop and listen.

Let quiet recalibrate you.

Noise distorts perspective. Silence tends to restore it.

Return to the noise renewed.

The goal isn't to escape your life. It's to walk back into it steadier than before.

Dad Takeaway: The strength people see in you was built in a room they never saw.
