Joshua 1:9
Comfort feels safe, but growth rarely happens there. Throughout Scripture, God consistently calls His people to trust Him beyond what feels easy or familiar. Courage is often the bridge between where you are and where God wants you to be.
Choose obedience over convenience.
The right decision is not always the easiest decision. Courage grows every time you choose obedience over comfort.
Trust God's presence.
God never asked Joshua to lead alone. Remembering that God is with you strengthens confidence during difficult seasons.
Face challenges directly.
Avoiding problems rarely makes them smaller. Courage allows you to address challenges with faith and wisdom.
Lead confidently.
Your family often looks to you during uncertain times. Calm and confident leadership creates stability in the home.
Take the next step.
You do not need to see the entire path. Faith often requires simply taking the next step God has placed before you.
Dad Takeaway: Courage is not the absence of fear. It is obedience despite fear.
