1 Corinthians 2:10–16
God has given believers the Holy Spirit so they can understand the mind and will of God. Without the Spirit, spiritual truth seems confusing or distant, but through Him we gain clarity and discernment. The more closely you walk with God, the more your conscience becomes a reliable guide for daily life.
Apply the Word of God.
Scripture trains your thinking and sharpens your spiritual instincts. As you consistently read and obey God’s Word, your conscience becomes aligned with His truth and less influenced by the world.
Arrive at decisions through prayer. Before making choices, pause and invite God into the process. Prayer slows your thinking and gives the Holy Spirit space to direct your steps.
Agree to obey God.Discernment grows when you are willing to follow the Lord’s direction. When obedience becomes your default posture, you begin to recognize God’s voice more clearly.
Acquire sensitivity to conviction. The Holy Spirit corrects with precision, not condemnation. When you learn to respond quickly to conviction, your heart becomes more responsive to God’s leading.
Abandon yourself to God’s will.Daily surrender strengthens spiritual awareness. As you commit your life to God’s purposes, your conscience becomes a steady guide toward His good and perfect will.
