Colossians 3:23
Paul instructs believers to work at everything as if working for the Lord, not for people. That reframes ordinary effort — your job, your chores, your parenting — as something done for God.
Work as if God's watching, because He is.
That changes the standard you're working toward.
Bring effort to the mundane.
Ordinary tasks matter more than they feel like they do.
Stop working for applause.
Working for people's approval is exhausting and inconsistent. Working for God is steady.
Show up even when it's unnoticed.
Most of faithful living happens where nobody's clapping.
Let your effort reflect who you're really serving.
Your work is worship when it's done with the right heart.
Dad Takeaway: Nobody has to see your effort for it to count. God does.
