When God Says Wait

Psalm 27:14

David's counsel to himself is simple but hard: wait for the Lord, be strong, take heart, and wait for the Lord. Twice he says it — because waiting is hard to do once, let alone keep doing.

Accept that waiting is part of the process.

Not every prayer gets answered on your timeline.

Stay strong while you wait.

Waiting doesn't mean passive. It means faithful in the meantime.

Take heart instead of growing discouraged.

Discouragement convinces you God has forgotten. He hasn't.

Keep showing up during the wait.

Faithfulness during delay often matters more than the outcome itself.

Trust God's timing over your own.

His delays are rarely His absence.

Dad Takeaway: Waiting isn't wasted time. It's often where your strength is being built.
