Philippians 3:13-14

Paul says he hasn't arrived, but he does one thing: forgetting what's behind, straining toward what's ahead, pressing on toward the goal. Growth requires letting go to keep moving.

Admit you haven't arrived.

Pretending you're finished growing stops the growth.

Let go of what's behind you.

Past failures and past wins can both anchor you if you don't release them.

Strain toward what's ahead.

Growth takes effort. It's not a passive drift forward.

Focus on one thing at a time.

Paul narrows to "this one thing." Scattered focus rarely produces real progress.

Keep pressing, even without arriving.

The goal isn't completion today. It's continued forward motion.

Dad Takeaway: You don't have to have arrived to keep moving forward.
