Rest for the Weary

Matthew 11:28

Life has a way of making people tired. Responsibilities pile up. Problems demand attention. Expectations feel heavy. Jesus understood this and offered a simple invitation: come to Him and find rest.

Bring your burdens to God.

You were never meant to carry every responsibility alone. Prayer creates space for God to provide strength.

Slow down intentionally.

Constant activity does not equal productivity. Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is rest.

Spend time with God.

His presence refreshes the soul in ways that entertainment and distractions cannot.

Release unnecessary pressure.

Not every burden belongs to you. Trust God with what you cannot control.

Prioritize healthy rhythms.

God designed work and rest to function together. Healthy rhythms create long-term strength.

Dad Takeaway: Rest is not weakness. It is trusting God enough to stop striving.
