1 Corinthians 16:13-14


Paul didn't tell the Corinthian church to feel strong. He told them to stand firm. Strength like that isn't a feeling you wait for — it's a decision you make, especially when things aren't going your way.


Be on your guard.


Stay alert to what's pulling at your faith, your family, and your focus. Awareness is the first line of defense.


Stand firm in what you believe.


Convictions only matter when they're tested. Don't fold just because it's uncomfortable.


Be courageous.


Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's moving forward anyway, because God is with you.


Be strong.


Real strength is rooted in God, not in how capable you feel today.


Do it all in love.


Strength without love turns hard. Love keeps your strength useful.
