Trusting God's Timing

Ecclesiastes 3:11

Most of us would love to know exactly how God plans to work things out. We want the timeline, the details, and the guarantee that everything will happen according to our schedule. God rarely works that way. Instead, He calls us to trust Him one step at a time.

Accept that waiting has purpose.

God is often doing important work behind the scenes while we wait. Growth frequently happens in the delay.

Focus on today's responsibilities.

Worrying about tomorrow often distracts from what God has called you to do today.

Resist the urge to force outcomes.

Trying to control everything usually creates frustration. Trust allows God to work according to His plan.

Remember God's faithfulness.

Looking back at His provision strengthens confidence moving forward.

Stay patient.

God has never been late. His timing remains perfect even when it feels slow.

Dad Takeaway: Trust grows strongest when you stop demanding your timeline and start trusting God's.

When God Says Wait

Psalm 27:14 David's counsel to himself is simple but hard: wait for the Lord, be strong, take heart, and wait for the Lord. Twice he says it — because waiting is hard to do once, let alone keep doing.
