Choose Obedience

John 14:15

Jesus ties love directly to obedience: if you love me, keep my commands. Not to earn His love — but as the natural response to it.

Obey as a response, not a transaction.

You're not earning anything. You're responding to what's already been given.

Let love drive obedience.

Obedience without love turns into empty duty.

Choose obedience even when it's inconvenient.

Convenient obedience isn't much of a test.

Trust that God's commands are for your good.

He's not restricting you. He's protecting you.

Practice obedience in the small commands.

That's usually where obedience is tested first.

Dad Takeaway: Obedience isn't how you earn love. It's how you show you've received it.
