Full Armor

1 min read

Ephesians 6:10-11

Paul tells believers to be strong in the Lord and put on the full armor of God, so they can stand against the devil's schemes. Notice — the strength isn't self-generated. It's found in Him.

Recognize the real fight.

Some battles aren't against people at all. Know what you're actually up against.

Draw strength from the right source.

Paul is specific: strength in the Lord, not in your own resolve.

Put on the armor deliberately.

Armor doesn't equip itself. This takes intentional daily action.

Prepare before the attack comes.

Waiting until the battle starts is too late to start putting on armor.

Stand, don't just survive.

The goal isn't barely making it through. It's standing firm.

Dad Takeaway: You're not fighting flesh and blood. Make sure you're actually armored for the real fight.
