Hope for Today

Romans 15:13

Paul prays that the God of hope would fill believers with joy and peace as they trust Him, so that hope would overflow by the Spirit's power. Hope isn't optimism — it's rooted in God's character.

Root hope in God, not circumstances.

Circumstances shift constantly. God's character doesn't.

Let hope produce peace.

Real hope calms you instead of just distracting you.

Trust before you feel hopeful.

Trust often has to come first. Feelings of hope tend to follow.

Let hope overflow to others.

The hope you carry is meant to spill over onto the people around you.

Depend on the Spirit's power, not your own.

You're not manufacturing hope on your own strength.

Dad Takeaway: Hope isn't pretending things are fine. It's trusting God even when they're not.
