Love Leads First

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Paul's description of love isn't sentimental — it's patient, kind, not self-seeking, not easily angered. That's a leadership standard as much as a relationship one.

Lead with patience.

Impatience with your family usually costs more than it saves.

Choose kindness even when you're right.

Being correct doesn't excuse being harsh.

Let go of self-interest.

Leadership that only serves you isn't leadership. It's just control.

Don't keep score.

Love that tracks every wrong eventually turns bitter.

Protect and persevere.

Real love stays when it would be easier to walk away.

Dad Takeaway: Love isn't the soft part of leadership. It's the strongest part.
