Speak the Truth in Love

Ephesians 4:15

Paul says believers are to speak the truth in love, growing up in every way into Christ, the head. Truth and love aren't opposites here — they're meant to work together.

Refuse to sacrifice truth for comfort.

Love doesn't mean avoiding hard truths.

Refuse to sacrifice love for bluntness.

Truth without love can wound unnecessarily.

Aim at growth, not just correctness.

The goal here is maturity, not winning an argument.

Practice both together, not separately.

Truth alone can be harsh. Love alone can be dishonest. Together, they mature.

Check your motive before speaking hard truth.

Love should be the reason you're speaking, not just being right.

Dad Takeaway: Truth without love is harsh. Love without truth is empty. You need both.
