Strength in Surrender


Most men equate strength with control — control over work, money, outcomes, emotions. But God’s definition flips the script: real strength comes from surrender.


When you surrender to God, you aren’t giving up; you’re giving over. You release the illusion of control and place your family, career, and future in His hands.


Jesus modeled this perfectly in Gethsemane when He prayed, “Not my will, but yours be done” (Luke 22:42). It wasn’t weakness — it was strength under submission.


Your kids will learn more from watching you surrender to God than from watching you win without Him. Let them see humility. Let them see faith when things don’t make sense.
