The Light That Leads Our Home

Scripture: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5

December is filled with lights — candles, houses, trees, decorations. But they’re only symbols of the true Light who came into the world.

As dads, we’re called to reflect His light inside our homes. Light looks like gentleness when everyone is tired. It looks like kindness when tempers flare. It looks like patience, prayer, and forgiveness.

Darkness doesn’t need big mistakes — it grows in small moments of unchecked anger, neglect, or distraction.

But the Light of Christ always overcomes when you intentionally bring it into your home.

Dad Takeaway: Let your leadership reflect Christ — the Light your family needs most.
