When Work Feels Endless

Every dad knows the grind. Emails, bills, projects, deadlines — they never stop. It’s easy to let work consume your best energy and give your family the leftovers.

Colossians 3:23 says, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” That means work hard — but with the right perspective. God is your boss, not your company.

When you work with purpose and then rest with peace, you teach your kids balance. Let them see that hard work honors God, but doesn’t replace Him.

Dad takeaway: Work hard. Rest well. God cares about both.
