Building Trust Brick by Brick

Trust isn’t automatic — it’s earned, one choice at a time. Proverbs 10:9 says, “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely.”

Our kids need to know that our word means something. When we promise to be at a game or a recital — we show up. When we admit fault instead of covering it up — we build credibility.

Trust forms the foundation of your relationship with your kids. Without it, correction feels harsh. With it, discipline feels safe.

The world may not trust many voices, but your children should never doubt yours.

Dad takeaway: Be a man whose “yes” means yes — that’s how trust is built.
