Resetting Your Spirit for a New Year

Scripture: “Create in me a clean heart, O God.” — Psalm 51:10

Before the new year begins, take a spiritual reset day. Examine your heart. Ask God to renew anything tired, heal anything wounded, and strengthen anything weak.

Spiritual resets aren’t about shame — they’re about alignment. You can’t lead your family well if your spirit is exhausted or off-course.

Ask:

  • Where do I need God’s grace?

  • Where do I need God’s strength?

  • Where do I need God’s direction?

Reset now so you can lead strong next year.

Dad Takeaway: Don’t enter the new year drained — enter it renewed by God.
